No Denying Wisecarver “Let It Ride 55” Win At Tyler County Speedway!

(Middlebourne, WV) – The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts was back in action on Sunday night as a field of nearly forty of the regions best were back in attendance at the “Bullring” for the highly-coveted “LET IT RIDE 55” payday and hardware. The title tells the story. There would be no denying Jesse Wisecarver on Sunday as he would pilot his #101 SWR Racing, Express Services Truck Repair & Towing, Hoosier Tire, Weekly Electric sponsored Rocket by Ruhlman to his biggest career win.

The evening got started with Octane Performance Products ‘Time Trials’ where Jason Brookover would hold the top spot until Wisecarver blistered a 13.866 second lap around the ¼ mile to take the top honors. It was then five heat races that would help determine the feature lineups taking the top three cars to the main event. Heat #1 would witness Wisecarver further prove his dominance with the win. Heat #2 would showcase a good battle but ultimately be won by Iron Station, NC’s Nick Stroupe. Tanner Wilson picked up from where last years race left off winning Heat #3. Chris Basich of Adena, OH would take a convincing win in heat #4 and Kyle Strickler making the overnight trip from Fayetteville, NC would win heat #5. Mark Dickson & Rich Michael Jr would be the first to see the checkers in a pair of Sunoco Race Fuels B-Main’s leading up to the main event.

When the Arizona Sport Shirts A-Main took over the speedway it was the defending race winner Tanner Wilson who would roll off from the pole with Mooresville, NC’s Kyle Strickler to his outside by virtue of the heat winners redraw. Wilson immediately earned the point but Strickler would battle door to door through the opening circuits. The action continued to intensify as the duo made contact allowing Wisecarver the opportunity to gain ground.

Wisecarver would get around Strickler for second and begin working on Wilson for the top spot. Fifth starting Wisecarver wasted little time challenging for the lead with fellow Zanesville, OH native ultimately surpassing Wilson around the ten lap mark. Stroupe, Strickler, Hawkins, and Wilson would all race inside the top five through the first part of the race.

Meanwhile, three and even four wide wars were being waged throughout the field as the pack raced hard for the lucrative purse money. Thirteenth starting Taylor Cook of Stanley, NC was making a march to the front aboard his Harris Auto Racing #21 machine. However, it was too little to late for the rest of the field as Jesse Wisecarver could not be denied the big win.

An off season pairing with Shelby & Ed Watson has earned Wisecarver numerous victories this season but none bigger than this one. A $5,555 dollar pay day as he adds his name to the prestigious past winners list. “Thanks to Ed for getting with me this winter and helping us out so we could prove we could finally beat these cars” stated Jesse in victory lane. “The expense of these cars it takes a lot. It’s nice to be able to have the equipment it takes to compete at this level and know you have a chance when you come to a race like this” added Wisecarver. Rounding out the top five was Taylor Cook, Tanner Wilson, Jacob Hawkins, & Rick Aukland.
